In order to fully ensure the validity of any export template offering, it must be rigorously tested against actual budgets within the Sage Estimating application.  Here are the building parameters for the test estimate developed within Sage Estimating to generate all single-estimate export template results:

• General Parameters
  • Use type = Warehouse
  • Footprint area / perimeter = 14,060 SF / 493 LF
  • Footprint distribution = 3,125 SF office space / 10,935 SF open storage (22 % / 78 %)
  • Overall height = 25′ to top of eave / 32′-6″ to top of roof ridge
  • Gross building area = 17,500 GSF
• Building System Details
  • A – Substructure
    • Concrete stem wall & footing foundation below exterior walls
    • Concrete piers & spread footings to support columns above
    • Rebar-reinforced concrete slab on grade at interior ground level
  • B – Shell
    • Pre-engineered metal building encompassing exterior walls & roof
    • WWF-reinforced slab on metal deck over metal joists at mezzanine over office space
    • Access to mezzanine via concrete-filled metal pan stairs
  • C – Interiors 
    • Typical 1-hour rated wallboard partitions framed to underside of mezzanine metal deck
    • Typical chase wall barrier between restrooms
    • Wall Finishes
      • Ceramic base and tile to wainscott with paint above to ceiling in restrooms
      • Paint full height with vinyl base otherwise
    • Floor Finishes
      • Ceramic tile in restrooms 
      • VCT in reception area
      • Carpet tile otherwise
    • Ceiling Finishes
      • Painted wallboard at closet near reception area 
      • Acoustical ceiling tile otherwise
